This summary explains the information used to provide a secure learning and planning account, including the boundaries for AI learning support.
Account and learning data
Clerk provides account identity and sign-in. Course progress, planner activity, worksheets, and account preferences are stored with the learner account so they can be available across sessions and devices.
Connected financial data
If you choose to connect a bank, Plaid helps provide the connection. If you upload a statement, its file and reference support your private records workspace. Do not enter passwords or security codes into Money Talks EDU.
Coach Rich and AI processing
Coach Rich stores conversations with your learner account so you can continue a learning discussion. To generate a response, it sends your current message, a limited recent chat history that does not contain detected private data, and approved course excerpts to a Replit-managed OpenAI-compatible AI service. It is not given your planner, bank connections, Plaid information, uploaded statements, wallet, simulation records, or credentials.
Choices and questions
You can delete individual Coach Rich conversations in the Coach workspace. For a privacy question or request about your account data, email crystal@moneytalks.education.
